Gun Brandishing on Campus
Los Rios Police Department reported an on-campus gun brandishing on Oct. 19, according to a crime bulletin.
Two females reported that four males approached them in parking lot D around 9:45 p.m. One suspect pulled out a handgun and asked one female to get off her cell phone. The suspects then laughed and walked away toward Calvine Road and Bruceville Road, according to a LRPD crime bulletin released on Oct. 20.
According to the bulletin, the suspects were described as four black, male juveniles all wearing dark pants and each wearing a different color hoodie (red, black, gray and white) and are small in stature.
Los Rios and Sacramento Police officers responded and searched the area with no results, according to the crime bulletin.
The police department advises students to travel with another person when possible and walk and park in well-lit areas, if you must travel at night be aware of your surroundings and avoid walking around with headphones in.
