The campus was put under a precautionary lockdown on March 10 after Los Rios Police were alerted of a violent crime that took place in the parking structure. This was the third lockdown of the past academic school year and CRC students express their thoughts on the lockdowns.

The men's basketball team beat Folsom Lake College on Friday for their ninth consecutive win. It was also the last home game of the season and sophomore night, which honored guard Kyree Dunn, guard Brandon Scott, wing Kaleb Drake, guard Ja'Rod Webb, wing James Gill, guard Solomon Evans and forward LaDarious Stanfield for their time on the team.
