Avani Kumar, Staff Writer
Nineteen-year-old Avani Kumar is a Staff Writer for The Connection, majoring in journalism. She joined the staff because she wrote in her high school newspaper and loved it. She loves to write and this was an opportunity to do that. After The Connection, she wants to join the paper at UC Irvine. In her spare time, she likes playing Hay Day, reading, watching football, hanging with her niece and nephew, and shopping.
