Barbie Sarente is a Staff Writer for The Connection. She is 22-years-old and is majoring in communications. She joined the staff because the class fit her schedule and it works well with her plan, going into her professional career. After The Connection, she plans on enrolling in more journalism classes and advancing her knowledge in the field. Outside of The Connection, she is interested in building community through acts of kindness, roller skating, bedazzling, singing and talking about the environment.
