Hi, my name is Jannah Khalil. This is my first semester on the paper and I’m really excited to be a staff writer and copy editing assistant. Production days make me dizzy but it’s okay because working with my fellow staff members makes up for it. I believe media is powerful influence on so many people so it’s important to learn how to use it well. My goal is to bring better representation to as many media outlets as I can. Media hasn’t always been the kindest to people like me so I’m hoping more people like me in it could fix that.
