Shafa Ilyas, Former Staff
Focusing on the medical field, Shafa took a journalism class in the fall of 2013 and enjoyed it so much she ended up joining the newspaper for a semester in the spring of 2014. With an eye for news and opinion generally, Shafa was not afraid to dip her toe into any section or area of the paper. Easily she rose up and volunteered to do whatever was needed of her. Shafa left the paper at the end of the spring term to pursue classes towards her educational goals.
