Valencia Luviano, Editor-in-Chief
Valencia Luviano is the Editor-in-Chief for The Connection. She is 19-years-old and is majoring in journalism. She joined The Connection to gain new opportunities, meet new people, and make the community’s voices heard while also informing them. After The Connection, she would like to transfer to Sac State and write for The Hornet, minor in Chicanx/Latinx studies, eventually work her way to a doctorate’s degree, and work in a book publishing company. She likes to read and write, go to cafes and bookstores, hangout con sus amigos, watch live music, learn about her Mexican culture and history, and hang out with her dad.
